How much does a tour cost?
Each Tourist sets their own price, and you'll see it, plus a small service fee, before you send a request. Your card is saved when you book, but you're only charged once your report is delivered.
What if the open house is canceled, or my Tourist doesn't make it?
You aren't charged. Your Tourist re-checks the listing before heading out and tells you if the open house moved or was canceled. If they don't check in at the home during the open house, the tour is marked missed, and you can book another Tourist.
Who are the Tourists?
Locals who've verified their identity with our payment partner, Stripe. They tour public open houses during their posted hours, check in at the home when they arrive, and buyers rate them after their tours.
How quickly will I get my report?
Within 24 hours of the open house, and often the same day. We'll send you a notification as soon as it's ready.
Do you copy anything from Zillow or Redfin?
No. We only use the link you share and the details you give us, like the address and the open house time. Every photo in a report is taken by your Tourist at the home.
Where can I use HomeTourist?
